Skydive Long Island, Calverton New York, is located on a now defunct military manufacturers plant. Once home of Grumman, builders of the F-14 and Lunar Modules, is now home to skydivers. The airport is HUGE! We use an 10,000 foot long runway, and have a 5 acre landing area along the taxiway. It takes some effort to land "off" here!
	This year we have gone through alot of effort to buff up the drop zone! New facilities are all over! The buildings have all been cleaned and painted, and a lounge has been added. Also new, the "Gravity Grill". Hot food available right on the DZ! Come hungry and leave happy!
The loading area has been redesigned for easy access and an unobstructed run to the packing areas.
	The office has been modernized and redesigned to make manifesting quick and easy even on our busiest days! There are soda and snack vending machines near manifest.
A new packing building has been added, and the previous packing building was moved to provide easy access to both the loading and landing areas.
As always, there is a rigging loft on site, complete with gear for sale. See Mike G. for more information. Rigging services are available 7 days a week, please call or come to manifest if you need more information.

There is fuel on site so the loads are going as quick as we keep those tanks full!

There are several complete video editing stations, so feel free to ask for video on any type of jump, we will always be able to accommodate. You will get a professionally edited video on your choice of VHS tape, or DVD.
