    COVID-19 Update

    In accordance with Governor Cuomo's executive order, Skydive Long Island is currently closed with plans to resume operations June 24th, 2020. We are currently taking tandem skydiving reservations online for the summer. We will work with our guests to reschedule reservations as needed due to any delay in opening.

    The Experience of a Lifetime

    Perhaps, on this day, it happens as sunlight peeks through the blinds of your bedroom window or the tone of your alarm nudges you awake. Either way, as your eyelids open, though still a little groggy and heavy with sleep, the realization is almost instantaneous-today is the day.

    The reservation was made well in advance, but until now, it almost didn't seem real. You are going skydiving.

    Without having already learned the differences, it is easy to forgive someone for thinking that jumping out of an aircraft or off the top of a big cliff or tall building is the same thing. It looks the same, right? Put on a backpack containing a parachute, jump, open parachute and then land. While BASE jumping and skydiving are indeed related in certain ways, there are some crucial differences that separate the two to the point where they are defined and considered as different sports.
