Professionalism: Everyone on our staff has safety at the forefront of their minds, from the people who greet you when you walk in, to our videographers, instructors, parachute packers, and beyond. We are a proud United States Parachute Association member dropzone and strictly adhere to their regulations and recommendations. We'd also like to note that to even think about becoming a tandem instructor, someone has to have at least 500 skydives, 3 hours of controlled freefall, and have been jumping for a minimum of 3 years (along with a slew of other met qualifications). Trust us, we've got you covered. Our multi-rated tandem instructors love what they do and are passionate about showing you a good time!

Where are we?
Skydive Long Island is located in Shirley, NY. We're less than 1.5 hours from the smack dab center of Manhattan, about 2 hours from New Haven, CT, and just under 3 hours from Philly! We're the closest you can get to tandem skydiving NYC, and lucky for you tandem skydiving is our specialty. Located only 50 miles east of New York City, we're proud to be NYC's premier skydiving center. However, we are definitely not exclusive to serving knickerbockers and would be ecstatic for anyone from anywhere to come jump with us!
