Loved your tandem skydiving experience at Skydive Long Island™? Itching to get back in the air again?

Maybe it's time to consider becoming an independent skydiver.

At Skydive Long Island™, our main focus and specialty is providing amazing tandem skydiving experiences. For this reason, we do not offer skydiving training courses at our facility in Shirley, NY, however there are several skydiving facilities in New York that do offer such courses.

For those wishing to earn their skydiving license locally and eventually become an experienced jumper, we would recommend checking out the IAF Program at Skydive the Ranch in Gardiner, NY. This student training program will teach you the techniques and skills needed to skydive independently with the guidance of qualified skydiving instructors and start you down the path to earning your initial skydiving license.

At Skydive Long Island™, we are passionate about the sport of skydiving and we aim to share that passion with all of our students. To learn more about the sport of skydiving and becoming a licensed skydiver, we recommend visiting the website for the United States Parachute Association (USPA) where you'll find a wealth of information and resources about the sport of skydiving and becoming a skydiver.
